Director of Communications Intelligence and Strategy
Lead communications intelligence at Prudential Financial by building dashboards, foresight capabilities, and reputation insights. Advise senior leaders using stakeholder signals, issue analysis, and communications data.
Description
- Set the Communications intelligence agenda by connecting reputation, sentiment, competitive, stakeholder, business, and performance signals
- Create early-warning methods, intelligence readouts, and escalation inputs that help leaders anticipate issues and interpret stakeholder changes
- Direct the development of dashboards, briefings, and insight packages that turn complex data into implications, narrative options, and decision considerations
- Collaborate with Brand, Investor Relations, People & Experience, Corporate Affairs, and business communicators to integrate signals into planning and issue response
- Oversee analytics support and work with the Manager, Analytics to improve data quality, dashboard usability, and measurement outputs
- Translate intelligence signals into practical guidance for senior Communications and enterprise leaders
- Advance foresight, issue preparedness, narrative development, and enterprise reputation outcomes
Requirements
- Seven to ten years of experience in communications measurement, reputation intelligence, stakeholder research, media analytics, corporate affairs, market research, or related strategy roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Data Science, Market Research, Business, Public Affairs, or a related field
- Ability to combine reputation, sentiment, competitive, business, and performance signals into clear implications, guidance, and recommendations for senior leaders
- Experience creating intelligence products, dashboards, readouts, or early-warning systems for planning, issue preparedness, and narrative decisions
- Proficiency with social listening, media monitoring, stakeholder research, AI-enabled intelligence tools, and visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong executive communication and facilitation abilities
- Ability to explain complex signals clearly, bring together differing perspectives, and support decisions amid uncertainty
- Strong analytical judgment, reputation awareness, attention to quality, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
