Description

  • Support digital transformation and AI enablement for GM Quality Connected Customer Continuous Improvement
  • Gather and clarify stakeholder needs
  • Design and deliver new data pipelines
  • Develop AI and machine-learning solutions
  • Create interfaces that support direct decision-making
  • Recommend and implement high-impact analytics for quality teams
  • Build predictive and prescriptive models and machine-learning algorithms
  • Examine varied data to identify trends and patterns
  • Prepare structured and unstructured data for analysis
  • Track model performance and maintain effectiveness
  • Explain complex findings through data visualization and storytelling
  • Deliver analytical datasets and user interfaces with cross-functional technical teams
  • Document models, workflows, and technical processes
  • Develop repeatable, scalable code and processes that improve delivery efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, analytics, operations research, engineering, business, statistics, economics, computer science, applied mathematics, or another quantitative discipline
  • At least two years of experience as a data scientist or in a related role
  • Experience developing, deploying, and monitoring large analytical datasets or machine-learning models
  • Proficiency in Python or a comparable programming language
  • Proficiency in SQL, Spark, or comparable query technologies
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable visualization tools
  • Proficiency with Databricks or comparable data lake platforms
  • Ability to collaborate with varied technical teams to produce analytical datasets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining quality
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Ability to connect broad business context to actionable insights and recommendations
  • Must not require GM immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, or other immigration support
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in computer science, business, statistics, mathematics, or a related field preferred
