Description
- Define aiOla’s technology vision, architecture, strategy, and roadmap in line with business and product priorities.
- Lead and develop an R&D team of approximately 15 specialists across voice AI, agent orchestration, and Salesforce/CRM integration.
- Guide the technical direction of a platform designed to operate reliably amid movement, background noise, varied accents, and imperfect data.
- Design and scale the intelligent agent-orchestration architecture that powers specialized sales agents for field representatives.
- Maintain enterprise-grade performance, reliability, security, and scalability for Fortune 500 production customers.
- Work with the CEO, Product, Sales, and executive leadership to set priorities, assess trade-offs, and execute technology decisions.
- Act as the senior technology representative in customer discussions, including live product demonstrations.
- Explain complex technical topics clearly and address enterprise concerns related to accuracy, security, reliability, and integration depth.
- Establish engineering practices, architecture standards, development processes, and delivery-quality expectations across the organization.
- Foster an engineering culture centered on ownership, speed, quality, and practical execution in a startup or scale-up setting.
- Remain hands-on when necessary by reviewing code and architecture, challenging technical choices, and helping solve difficult engineering problems.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a CTO, VP of R&D, Head of Engineering, or comparable senior technology leader.
- Experience leading and scaling engineering organizations of approximately 15 or more people.
- Deep technical expertise with the ability to engage directly in architecture and implementation decisions.
- Background addressing data-quality and imperfect-data challenges in production machine-learning systems.
- Experience developing or scaling multi-agent AI platforms and agent orchestration.
- A record of delivering highly reliable, enterprise-grade systems at scale for Fortune 500 or other enterprise customers.
- Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing technical work, including demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical sales support.
- Ability to collaborate closely and regularly with Sales, Product, and other business teams.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment, balancing long-term technology planning with hands-on delivery.
