Description

  • Identify and pursue new business with organizations that are not yet Gartner clients in the assigned territory.
  • Convert qualified prospects into Gartner clients by leading sales discussions and negotiations through handoff to account management.
  • Build a strong pipeline and consistently meet sales metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Connect clients with relevant insights, guidance, and practical tools that strengthen partnerships.
  • Own the sales quota for the assigned territory.
  • Lead complex, high-value sales across diverse, matrixed business environments.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and account plans.
  • Develop trusted relationships with C-suite decision-makers.
  • Hand new clients to account management for continued value delivery.

Requirements

  • At least five years of B2B sales experience, ideally involving complex intangible offerings.
  • Background in business development or new-client acquisition in a sales role is strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling to or influencing C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to manage and accurately forecast complex sales processes.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
