AML Training and Staffing Specialist

Description

  • Maintain compliance with AML training program requirements
  • Create and refresh anti-money laundering training courses
  • Manage and update AML staffing records
  • Provide reporting for audits and examinations
  • Review internal AML processes, procedures, and programs
  • Develop and revise AML training content
  • Coordinate implementation activities for training course updates
  • Partner with Financial Intelligence Unit and Sanctions Compliance & Watchlist Management Unit leaders on employee development requirements
  • Work with BMO Academy on course development, publishing, enrollment, and reporting
  • Track program performance, resolve issues, follow up on mandatory training, and escalate concerns when needed
  • Assist learners through the shared group inbox
  • Keep AML Office staffing records and employee rosters accurate
  • Produce monthly and quarterly staffing metrics and reports
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual AML Office Staffing Assessments
  • Keep training and staffing records current and complete
  • Help compile evidence and reports for audits and examinations
  • Draft, edit, and distribute communications related to AML training
  • Complete projects and initiatives within required timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality work

Requirements

  • Ensure AML training program deliverables meet compliance requirements
  • Create and revise AML training courses
  • Manage and maintain staffing information
  • Provide reporting support for audits and examinations
  • Review internal processes, procedures, and programs from an AML compliance perspective
  • Address and resolve issues, escalating them when appropriate
  • Apply knowledge of current regulations, internal policies, and industry practices
  • Independently coordinate AML training course execution
  • Work collaboratively with Financial Intelligence Unit and Sanctions Compliance & Watchlist Management Unit leadership
  • Use BMO Academy to create courses, publish content, enroll learners, and produce reports
  • Monitor training performance and follow up on required course completion
  • Maintain accurate staffing records and prepare monthly and quarterly metrics and reports
  • Contribute to AML Office Staffing Assessments
  • Maintain thorough training and staffing records
  • Collect evidence and prepare reporting for audits and examinations
