Senior Transition Relationship Manager, Streamlined Services

Manage pension scheme transitions, data cleansing and stakeholder delivery for Just Group’s life and pensions business. Support streamlined services and defined benefit de-risking transactions.

Opis

  • Plan and oversee pension scheme transitions through data cleansing and completion
  • Gather and validate scheme data
  • Agree processes and timelines with trustees and internal stakeholders
  • Meet client commitments and escalate issues when needed
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and the client experience throughout each transition
  • Coordinate multiple core and streamlined service transactions at the same time
  • Clarify responsibilities for everyone involved in initial transition activities
  • Guide, train and support Transition Support and Analyst colleagues
  • Help the Streamlined Service Manager build transition capability and improve processes
  • Project manage assigned transitions from exclusive appointment, or earlier where needed
  • Lead data cleansing and agree project plans with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate deliverables through handover to the Data & Onboarding team or Buyout Managers
  • Agree operational tasks for streamlined schemes, including movement reporting and payroll funding
  • Manage final data and queries, and secure agreement on the final data schedule
  • Work with the Post Transaction Service Manager and Head of True Up on true-up calculations and third-party administrator setup requirements
  • Share regular progress updates and escalate delays and issues promptly
  • Cover colleagues during leave, overseeing their transitions and client activity

Zahteve

  • Bring strong planning and organisational skills to scheme transitions and a varied workload
  • Work under pressure to meet agreed objectives and timelines while maintaining accuracy and quality
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Show initiative, self-motivation and drive
  • Use Microsoft Excel confidently to analyse and check data efficiently
  • Apply strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Project manage transactions through completion in partnership with Scheme Trustees and EBCs
  • Understand the life and pensions sector, particularly defined benefit pensions and de-risking
  • Analyse problems effectively and find resolutions
  • Have essential experience in the pensions industry at a similar organisation
  • Bring life and pensions experience, preferably in defined benefit pensions or the defined benefit de-risking market
  • Knowledge of buy-ins, buy-outs or broader de-risking is desirable
  • Have experience in relationship management, project management, or both
  • Project management credentials such as PRINCE2, Agile or APM are desirable
  • Professional qualifications in PMI or project management, or equivalent experience, are desirable
