Actuarial Analyst Intern, Summer 2027
Support data analysis, actuarial reporting, pricing, reserving, and financial modeling. This hybrid internship with Tokio Marine North America Services is based in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
Opis
- Prepare data for analysis and assist with data mining.
- Help program, prepare, and interpret actuarial reports.
- Contribute to projects in product development, pricing, reserving, reinsurance, or financial modeling.
- Propose ideas to improve the department’s performance.
- Complete actuarial exams under the TMNAS Actuarial Student Program guidelines.
- Follow the internal controls required for job responsibilities.
- Complete special projects and other assigned duties.
Zahteve
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of statistical methods, actuarial tools, and techniques.
- Basic knowledge of methods and tools for identifying, anticipating, and resolving actuarial operational or process issues.
- Ability to assess alternative solutions and select those that best serve the business.
- Initiative in seeking out work.
- Strong motivation to achieve goals.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills, including the ability to identify root causes of actuarial problems.
- Careful attention to detail and accuracy when handling actuarial information.
