Senior Account Director – Life Sciences Marketing (Raleigh Hybrid)
Senior Account Director leading Life Sciences marketing accounts at MERGE, a health and wellness marketing technology agency. Oversees client strategy, account growth, integrated campaigns, and team development.
Descriere
- Lead the full account management function
- Guide and motivate daily collaboration between account teams and clients
- Build strong relationships with current and prospective clients
- Contribute strategic thinking and hands-on execution
- Move tactical projects through the agency while meeting scope and deadlines
- Strengthen enduring partnerships between client and agency teams
- Translate business, customer, and market insights into strategies and marketing programs across traditional and digital Life Sciences and Pharma channels, including Media, Analytics, and MarTech
- Align agency capabilities with client expectations
- Keep client teams informed on progress, creative work, and deliverables to support on-strategy, on-time, and on-budget delivery
- Advise clients on strategy, ideas, trends, and thought leadership
- Approve internal materials prepared for client reporting
- Expand accounts by identifying client needs, opportunities, and solutions
- Protect the financial health of assigned accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic creative solutions
- Engage senior leaders from other departments when appropriate
- Lead and develop a team as a mentor and trusted advisor
- Stay current on MERGE solutions and resources and convert relevant opportunities into action
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience
- 8–10 years of account management experience in an advertising agency or similar environment across traditional and digital channels
- Experience in Life Sciences, including MedTech, devices, or Pharma, with knowledge of the MLR process
- Experience working with healthcare professionals is required
- Direct-to-consumer experience is a plus
- Strong capabilities in strategic ideation, tactical activation, and financial management
- Understanding of media objectives and experience across media channels, targeting and audience strategy, KPIs, and measurement
- Ability to collaborate across media and analytics teams
- Excellent professional communication and presentation skills
- Advanced client relationship management skills
- Strong client commitment, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Experience managing at least one direct report
- US employment authorization that does not require current or future visa sponsorship
