Aprašymas

  • Build, prototype, implement, and maintain interactive gameplay systems, technical content, and their supporting platforms
  • Configure and maintain the engine, editor, and proprietary WB tools
  • Improve editor workflows for placement, data layers, previews, debugging, validation, and naming standards
  • Develop and troubleshoot gameplay systems and technical content for performance, reliability, and maintainability
  • Prototype and integrate features to assess feasibility, scope, and quality
  • Support scripted content and verify gameplay-system integration within content scenarios
  • Work closely with Level Design, Game Design, Art, VFX, Programming, and Quality Assurance
  • Track dependencies across teams, systems, and resources to strengthen cross-discipline alignment
  • Join technical reviews and validate gameplay milestones from a technical perspective
  • Coach team members and support their professional development
  • Create the technical documentation required for production
  • Keep current with technology and help advance high-performance software and development practices

Reikalavimai

  • At least eight years of technical design experience in the video game industry
  • Contributions to a minimum of two AAA titles, including one commercially released on console or PC
  • Experience delivering large-scale console and PC projects throughout prototyping, production, delivery, and post-launch support such as DLC and updates
  • Advanced optimization and debugging skills for PC and console platforms
  • Strong command of Unreal Engine 5 for technical gameplay development
  • Familiarity with Perforce, JIRA, and bug-tracking tools
  • Experience with Maya or 3ds Max is a major asset
  • Ability to read C++ code, or experience in programming or scripting, is a significant asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize with the Production team and manage execution independently
  • Ability to move complex or ambiguous technical issues forward
  • Experience coaching and guiding less experienced team members
  • Clear, concise, and transparent communication with Design and Programming teams
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to guide junior team members and collaborate with internal and external resources
