Senior Business Process Consultant
Assess Operations, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay processes for Sand Cherry Associates. Map workflows, uncover control gaps, and create prioritized improvement plans.

- Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders, process owners, and subject matter experts.
- Document current processes across Operations, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay.
- Create detailed swim lane maps of current processes, including activities, owners, handoffs, decisions, systems, and dependencies.
- Record roles and responsibilities across processes.
- Evaluate systems, data flows, reports, controls, and process handoffs.
- Review process documentation, procedures, controls, reports, and related materials.
- Spot manual work, bottlenecks, unnecessary handoffs, duplication, complexity, gaps, risks, and control weaknesses.
- Assess ways to simplify, standardize, streamline, or redesign processes.
- Find opportunities to improve cross-functional coordination, process ownership, controls, data flow, and operational visibility.
- Build an inventory of process improvement opportunities.
- Group opportunities into quick wins and longer-term initiatives.
- Evaluate the business impact of proposed improvements.
- Rank recommendations by business value, risk, complexity, and implementation factors.
- Turn findings into practical recommendations for business and leadership stakeholders.
- Create a prioritized improvement roadmap with proposed initiatives and sequencing.
- Explain the rationale, expected impact, dependencies, and considerations for proposed changes.

- Bring at least seven years of experience in business process engineering or management, process improvement, operational transformation, or management consulting.
- Have a track record conducting current-state process assessments in complex organizations.
- Demonstrate strong skills in process mapping, swim lane diagrams, workflow documentation, and process narratives.
- Bring experience with process mapping tools; Microsoft Visio is preferred.
- Have experience assessing Order to Cash (O2C) and/or Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
- Understand cross-functional processes, including related systems, data, controls, reporting, roles, and handoffs.
- Be able to identify inefficiencies, risks, control weaknesses, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Have experience creating prioritized improvement recommendations and transformation roadmaps.
- Be skilled at facilitating workshops and interviewing stakeholders.
- Be able to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into clear findings and actionable recommendations.
- Communicate, present, and document effectively for executive audiences.
- Work independently, navigate ambiguity, and quickly grasp complex business environments.
- Have experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), or continuous improvement methods.
- Have worked across Finance, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related functions.
- Be able to work from offices in Houston, Texas, or Lafayette, Louisiana.
- Be able to travel up to 25%.
- Be fully authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship or transfer.
- Be ineligible for C2C arrangements.
