Technology Operations Manager, Delivery and Pickup at Walmart

Lead technology operations for Walmart Business store-fulfilled delivery and pickup, using data to improve fulfillment and customer outcomes. Partner across Product, Engineering, and operations to solve complex issues and deliver scalable improvements.

Description

  • Own operational performance and execution for Walmart Business store-fulfilled Delivery and Pickup
  • Evaluate fulfillment results, customer feedback, and operational data to uncover root causes and improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate cross-functional work to resolve complex customer and operational challenges across Delivery and Pickup
  • Convert business needs and operational findings into requirements and scalable solutions with Product and Engineering
  • Manage initiatives through discovery, testing, launch, performance validation, and ongoing improvement
  • Create operating mechanisms, coordinate dependencies, and reinforce accountability among partner teams
  • Turn recurring issues and operational lessons into lasting capability improvements
  • Use data and operational judgment to flag risks, recommend actions, and guide decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project or program management, information technology, finance, management, or a related field plus three years of project management, program management, program operations, or related experience; alternatively, five years of experience in these areas
  • Background in eCommerce, fulfillment, operations, supply chain, product operations, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Working fluency across operations, product, and technology
  • Ability to move complex cross-functional initiatives from ambiguity to measurable results
  • Sound operational judgment
  • Clear communication, effective stakeholder management, ownership, and intellectual curiosity
  • Preferred: familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices
