Create character, object, and pseudo-3D animations for Highrise, Pocket Worlds’ digital fashion platform. Build Unity rigs and mobile-optimized visual effects for engaging gameplay.
Description
- Create polished character and object animations, including sophisticated pseudo-3D effects
- Produce Unity-based visual effects that enhance the game’s visual presentation
- Build adaptable 2D rigs and optimize Spine assets for reliable game-engine integration
- Manage the complete Unity implementation of animation assets
- Partner with art, live operations, and engineering teams to develop concepts, maintain visual cohesion, and resolve technical challenges
- Improve rigging workflows and deliver animations optimized for mobile performance
- Support character deformation and other dynamic animation systems
Requirements
- An exceptional portfolio demonstrating 2D character animation, pseudo-3D effects, and technical rigging expertise
- Advanced proficiency in Spine or comparable animation and rigging tools
- A strong technical understanding of mobile optimization, asset preparation, and hardware limitations
- Demonstrated ability to solve creative and technical problems effectively
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
- A proven ability to perform effectively against demanding production timelines
- Experience with traditional animation, basic scripting, pipeline development, Unity, or Unity visual effects
