Senior Sales Manager - Jackson Hole

Lead group, corporate, leisure, and event sales for Trailborn Jackson Hole resort. Manage client relationships, sales planning, forecasting, negotiations, and coordination across resort departments.

Description

  • Generate and close new group, corporate, association, SMERF, and leisure business
  • Build and strengthen existing client relationships through proactive account management
  • Lead sales calls, virtual presentations, and property site inspections
  • Provide timely responses to RFPs and other inquiries
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and concessions within approved guidelines
  • Create annual sales plans and market strategies
  • Represent the resort at trade shows, networking events, and industry associations
  • Track emerging market opportunities and competitive activity
  • Work with Revenue Management to improve ADR, occupancy, and RevPAR
  • Assess opportunities using profitability and displacement analysis
  • Keep sales forecasts and booking pace information accurate
  • Review production reports and refine sales strategies as needed
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts
  • Arrange site visits and familiarization tours
  • Manage the handoff from sales to resort operations
  • Support client satisfaction and repeat business
  • Address client concerns promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate with Catering, Events, Front Office, Marketing, and Operations to deliver group business
  • Contribute to weekly sales strategy meetings
  • Help create promotional campaigns and packages
  • Support resort-wide programs and brand standards
  • Keep CRM and sales system records current and accurate
  • Develop proposals, contracts, and client correspondence
  • Measure production against budgets and sales targets
  • Submit weekly activity reports and monthly forecasts
  • Maintain complete account histories and supporting documentation
  • Provide guidance to junior sales team members when appropriate
  • Encourage effective collaboration across departments
  • Promote high-quality guest service
  • Represent the resort positively in the local community

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least five years of hotel or resort sales experience
  • Demonstrated success in group and corporate sales
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license
  • Resort sales experience preferred
  • Experience with Marriott sales systems such as CI/TY, MarRFP, or related platforms preferred
  • Knowledge of Jackson Hole, mountain destinations, or outdoor tourism markets preferred
  • Experience with Delphi, Synexis, or comparable sales systems preferred
