Senior Data Scientist – United States Remote

Lead data science initiatives for Counterpart Health’s AI-enabled chronic care platform. Build measurable solutions that improve physician workflows, product performance, and patient outcomes.

Description

  • Drive large-scale initiatives from initial concept through enterprise-wide impact
  • Use creative, practical approaches to solve complex problems
  • Assess standard and customized solutions to balance speed, effectiveness, and long-term value
  • Deliver scalable, thoroughly tested solutions that reduce technical and operational complexity
  • Translate business challenges into data science outcomes that address critical organizational needs
  • Partner with stakeholders at every level to connect data science priorities with business objectives
  • Surface and reduce project risks early in the delivery process
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner
  • Keep projects on schedule and aligned with defined business goals
  • Mentor colleagues and collaborate across the team to strengthen problem-solving and technical execution
  • Estimate and communicate expected project impact
  • Lead data-based evaluations of product performance
  • Use analytical insights to identify and execute strategic improvements

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline with 3–4 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with at least 2 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning methods
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and relevant machine learning or statistical libraries
  • Track record of applying data science to generate value within a business function
  • Experience leading projects from initial concept through measurable impact at scale
  • Ability to elevate team performance through mentoring, code reviews, and leadership by example
  • Clear communicator who can connect technical work to business goals and broader company priorities
