Senior Business Analyst, SharePoint and Knowledge Management

Support GDIT’s Indian Health Service electronic health records modernization program through remote PMO, SharePoint, and knowledge management operations. Coordinate process documentation, content governance, and Lessons Learned activities across program teams.

Description

  • Support PMO contract management for the Indian Health Service Electronic Health Records Modernization program.
  • Maintain program-wide knowledge management and SharePoint operations.
  • Track and triage knowledge management tickets, coordinating their resolution.
  • Administer SharePoint lists, libraries, modern pages, permissions, and user groups.
  • Help develop procedures, processes, templates, and structured knowledge resources.
  • Coordinate and manage the Lessons Learned process.
  • Administer GovSlack users, including account changes and access troubleshooting.
  • Work with knowledge management and functional teams to resolve tickets and maintain content governance.
  • Coordinate SharePoint content reviews with owners and subject matter experts.
  • Gather, document, and refine Lessons Learned contributions.
  • Flag duplicate or inactive SharePoint content and recommend cleanup.
  • Spot process gaps and recommend improvements to efficiency, consistency, and performance.
  • Encourage structured knowledge practices and consistent use of templates and process documentation.
  • Help improve SharePoint governance, compliance, content organization, and user experience.
  • Increase participation in the Lessons Learned process.
  • Work with SharePoint Online, knowledge management tools, workflows, repositories, trackers, and structured documentation systems.
  • Prepare and present briefings and updates to program audiences, including leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 8 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Oracle Cerner certification can replace 3 years of required experience.
  • Experience using SharePoint document libraries, metadata tags, lists, and permissions.
  • Demonstrated ability to document processes.
  • Experience supporting technical, clinical, or PMO teams.
  • Experience with change management, reporting, workflow and issue tracking, escalation paths, and milestone tracking during development and implementation.
  • Experience coordinating communications across functional teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the year if needed.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
  • Experience with GovSlack, Slack, or another team collaboration platform.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or a comparable ticketing system.
  • Familiarity with knowledge management and structured documentation practices.
  • Experience supporting federal contract program managers.
  • Task management experience or skills.
  • A proactive approach to improving processes, particularly knowledge management workflows.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to handle frequently changing priorities.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and briefings to varied program audiences, including leaders and customers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to follow detailed written policies, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation.
