Recruiter (Texas Remote)

Manage end-to-end recruiting for Charger Logistics, a North American asset-based transportation provider. Support candidate selection, retention initiatives, human resources programs, and workforce planning.

Description

  • Manage recruitment, selection, and retention activities
  • Coordinate hiring processes by defining selection criteria, creating interview questions and tests, screening applications, interviewing candidates with hiring managers, and checking references
  • Prepare and send job offers and related offer packages
  • Design, recommend, and implement human resources programs and services focused on recruitment and retention
  • Communicate recruitment, selection, and retention programs to managers and employees and provide related training
  • Guide managers and employees on recruitment and selection matters
  • Assist management with workforce planning, including staffing levels and requirements
  • Create and maintain recruitment and selection policies and procedures that comply with employment legislation
  • Contribute to Human Resources projects
  • Advise managers on recruiting best practices, human rights legislation, and other applicable legislation
  • Attend career and job fairs and support recruitment initiatives
  • Create, maintain, and regularly update job descriptions
  • Conduct exit interviews and share emerging trends with management
  • Follow Charger Logistics' health and safety policies and practices

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience; in-house experience is an asset
  • Experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn, social media, sourcing tools, and similar recruiting technologies
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software and systems
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a technical field preferred
