Description

  • Provide engineering support directly to manufacturing operations
  • Design, fabricate, modify, and evaluate manufacturing operations
  • Develop plans, conduct support studies, and perform analyses or tests for manufacturing operations
  • Assign and coordinate work for drafters and technicians as needed
  • Create manufacturing process plans, test requirements, production flows, and capacity plans
  • Review detailed designs for manufacturability and producibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering discipline plus 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Relevant specialties may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, or robotics
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Active Department of Defense security clearance or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time after employment begins
