Junior to Mid-Level Computer Vision Engineer - France Remote

Build production computer vision systems for Terabase Energy’s solar construction software. Develop models, data pipelines, and deployment workflows used across active global construction sites.

Description

  • Develop production-quality Python across data pipelines, model training, inference services, and evaluation systems
  • Build, test, release, and maintain production machine learning and computer vision features with AI-assisted engineering workflows
  • Apply advances in computer vision and deep learning to practical construction problems
  • Create and execute testing and validation procedures for machine learning products in construction-site environments
  • Collaborate with frontend, backend, data, infrastructure, and external engineering teams on integrated product features
  • Manage the complete machine learning lifecycle from model design and training through evaluation and deployment
  • Digitize solar plant development, design, construction, and operational processes
  • Incorporate field feedback, investigate edge cases, and relate model performance to real-world results
  • Strengthen collaboration across Paris, engineering, product, and global field operations teams

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional or research experience
  • Demonstrated experience building, testing, launching, and supporting production B2B applications through AI-first or AI-native engineering practices
  • Proficiency with AI coding agents and assisted-development tools
  • At least two years of hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models and pipelines
  • Advanced Python programming skills
  • Strong computer vision fundamentals with applied experience in detection, segmentation, classification, or related areas
  • Practical experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
  • Experience with data annotation tools and label-quality validation processes
  • MLOps experience covering experiment tracking, model versioning, and deployment pipelines
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate asynchronously across time zones
  • Strong written and spoken English communication
  • Working knowledge of agile development and the complete software product lifecycle
