Data Analytics Analyst – Gurugram Hybrid

Analyze data and build dashboards for American Express consumer card products in a hybrid Gurugram role. Apply SQL and Python to improve membership benefits, customer engagement, revenue, and portfolio performance.

Description

  • Build and maintain dashboards and decomposition frameworks to monitor portfolio performance.
  • Use external and partner data to assess benefits, strengthen benchmarking, develop behavioral insights, and explain portfolio trends.
  • Perform targeted analyses and deep dives across portfolios and products to evaluate refresh impacts, improve revenue, measure benefit usage, and identify performance drivers.
  • Use data and data science insights to uncover growth opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.
  • Create customer segmentation models, optimize targeting, and develop relevant triggers.
  • Work with internal and external partners to manage industry data requirements and support competitive portfolio benchmarking.
  • Improve Insurance and Lounge membership services by analyzing usage, optimizing capacity and costs, enhancing customer experience, and expanding analytics coverage.

Requirements

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree from a top-tier college.
  • 0–1 years of experience in data analytics.
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to derive insights, recommend actions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative, quick-learning problem solver who can navigate unstructured challenges.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional business partners worldwide.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong programming skills, with SQL and Python required.
  • Knowledge of AI tools and implementation is an advantage.
  • Hybrid role based in Gurgaon.
