- Evaluate existing automations for functionality, performance, and improvement opportunities.
- Review business processes to identify optimization and automation opportunities.
- Help develop and maintain automations using Python and Shell Script.
- Maintain, support, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems.
- Create, assess, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, processing, and analysis.
- Help organize, update, and manage Excel tracking spreadsheets.
- Analyze data to uncover inconsistencies, opportunities, and process improvements.
- Document processes, automations, and developed solutions.
- Work with departments and technical teams to monitor and resolve requests.
- Build technical expertise through training, courses, and ongoing learning about technologies and tools.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a Data Analyst, Automation Analyst, or in a comparable position.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including query creation and analysis.
- Knowledge of Python and/or Shell Script.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Knowledge of Excel for data tracking, analysis, and organization.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Experience developing and supporting automations.
- Knowledge of automation and data integration tools.
- Understanding of databases.
- Experience evaluating and optimizing processes.
- Knowledge of data visualization or business intelligence tools.
