AI Transformation Manager - Thomson Reuters (Hybrid, Eagan)

Lead enterprise AI transformation programs for Thomson Reuters’ legal, tax, and compliance technology businesses. Drive strategy, data-informed planning, governance, and cross-functional delivery.

Description

  • Turn unclear business and technology challenges into actionable plans with hypotheses, workstreams, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
  • Convert business strategy into program plans spanning scope, schedules, budgets, risks, benefits realization, and enterprise alignment.
  • Develop business cases, cost and value models, and data-driven performance dashboards.
  • Direct complex, cross-functional programs from initial concept through completion.
  • Manage trade-offs among program scope, risk, budget, and schedule.
  • Oversee governance frameworks, operating cadences, PMO standards, tools, and delivery methodologies.
  • Track and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies that could affect delivery.
  • Offer thought leadership that helps teams work through complexity.
  • Adjust across the portfolio as organizational priorities change.
  • Manage and mentor project managers when needed.
  • Facilitate steering committees and shape VP-level decisions.
  • Coordinate competing priorities among business and technology leaders.
  • Act as the primary accountable partner for senior stakeholders.
  • Deliver clear, timely progress updates throughout each program’s lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bring 5–10 years of management consulting experience from Big Four, strategy, or technology consulting, or comparable in-house transformation experience.
  • Have progressed to a Senior Consultant or Manager level and be prepared to own work end to end.
  • Demonstrate a blended skill set for delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple business areas and technologies.
  • Translate data into practical insights.
  • Partner effectively with subject matter experts on strategy and requirements.
  • Own complete program delivery from initiation through execution.
  • Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders with confidence.
  • Influence senior leaders, work through ambiguity, and balance competing priorities.
  • Show a record of leading ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from definition through delivery.
  • Communicate excellently in writing and verbally.
  • Create materials suitable for executive audiences.
  • Have exposure to AI or data transformation programs.
  • Discuss AI adoption, platform modernization, or automation-led change with credibility.
  • Bring experience in a regulated or professional services sector such as legal, financial services, tax, or compliance.
  • Work comfortably within enterprise-level governance and risk frameworks.
