Payroll Supervisor – CAMH (Hybrid, Toronto)

Oversee CAMH’s bi-weekly payroll operations, supporting unionized and non-unionized employees. Maintain accurate pay, reconciliations, remittances, and compliance with legislation and collective agreements.

Opis

  • Run bi-weekly end-to-end payroll in Oracle Fusion.
  • Ensure payroll is accurate, timely, and compliant with federal and provincial laws and CRA requirements.
  • Apply current legislation, CAMH policies, collective agreements, and database rules for earnings and deductions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners on payroll matters and liabilities.
  • Process payroll for unionized and non-unionized hourly and salaried employees.
  • Prepare Records of Employment and respond to employees’ pay questions and requests.
  • Protect confidential and private information.
  • Handle payroll processing and oversee the payroll email inbox on a rotating schedule.
  • Review and analyze payroll reports, reconciling data for T4 reporting and general-ledger payroll liabilities.
  • Prepare third-party remittances and payroll reports.
  • Check and reconcile timekeeping hours against the final pay register.
  • Process payout requests, adjustments, deductions, and garnishments.
  • Verify that payments, deductions, remittances, and dues are accurate, timely, and legally compliant.
  • Help sustain a healthy, inclusive, collaborative, and compliant workplace.

Zahteve

  • College diploma in business.
  • Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation.
  • Three to five years of payroll experience.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with in-house HR and payroll systems such as Oracle Fusion and Lawson.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer service orientation and sensitivity to customer needs.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion payroll is preferred, but not required.
  • French and English bilingualism or proficiency in another language is an asset.
