Descriere

  • Join the Melbourne Practice Support team to assist Partners and senior legal professionals.
  • Work alongside Practice Executives to understand their roles and build mentoring relationships.
  • Support matter financial administration, including billing, e-billing, bill tracking, timesheets, cost estimates, matter closures and archiving.
  • Cover for Practice Executives during annual and sick leave.
  • Organise corporate tables and business, industry, client and staff events.
  • Handle client administration across the matter lifecycle.
  • Promote consistent client service across matter teams.
  • Guide colleagues on drafting, document production and practice management processes.
  • Provide proactive business administration support to Partners and senior legal professionals.

Cerințe

  • Experience in a comparable role is preferred, ideally in a law firm; candidates from finance, accounting or other professional services firms are also considered.
  • Promote operational excellence across Practice Support and set a strong example.
  • Communicate effectively in writing.
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Draft correspondence, presentations, pitch documents and slide decks quickly and accurately.
