Descriere

  • Build deep expertise in Pinterest’s Trust and Safety platform while identifying funnel opportunities, risks, and measurement gaps
  • Lead initiatives that address Trust and Safety challenges across the user funnel
  • Create and productionize scalable machine-learning and evaluation frameworks for measurement, recommendations, and forecasting
  • Establish instrumentation and experimentation practices that support product engineering teams
  • Use rigorous scientific and statistical methods to guide product development and improvement
  • Prototype and refine analysis pipelines that generate insights from large-scale data
  • Develop strong knowledge of data structures and metrics, and advocate for product improvements informed by them
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Present important findings and influence product decisions affecting Pinterest’s global community of pinners, creators, advertisers, and merchants
  • Advance Trust and Safety from reactive moderation and delayed harm reporting toward a proactive, metrics-driven operating model

Cerințe

  • At least 10 years of experience analyzing data in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Demonstrated ability to apply scientific methods to practical problems using web-scale data
  • Deep experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, forecasting, econometrics, or a related discipline
  • A scientifically rigorous approach to analysis and data
  • Ability to work with large, high-dimensional, complex datasets
  • Fluency in SQL or another database language
  • Fluency in Python or R
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional leaders
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Applicants must be based in the United States
