Operations Analyst – Norwich, NY (Onsite)
Maintain insurance agency records and data for NBT Insurance, while supporting colleagues with helpdesk requests, document processing, billing, and workflows.
Descriere
- Maintain client and agency records.
- Enter, review, validate, and update data in the agency management system.
- Support agency personnel with internal helpdesk issues ranging from basic to moderately complex.
- Research information in the agency management system and on carrier websites.
- Meet departmental performance, service time, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented setting.
- Process daily incoming and outgoing documents for all departments and branches.
- Retrieve, scan, and attach documents to customer records.
- Start workflows for agency personnel in the agency management system.
- Research, verify, and enter agency file data according to established workflows and guidelines.
- Process daily interface items and downloaded data, including commission management.
- Handle billing items received from carriers and internal staff.
- Answer inquiries and troubleshoot agency management and other software systems, addressing basic to moderately complex issues.
- Carry out other assigned duties.
- Travel may be required.
Cerințe
- Associate degree plus three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Two years of technical support experience and/or experience with an insurance agency management system is preferred.
- A Property & Casualty Broker's license and/or Life, Accident, and Health license is required, or candidates must be able to obtain one within 12 months of hire.
- Knowledge of the agency management system.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, attend to detail, and maintain quality.
- Ability to analyze data, research issues, and make sound decisions using judgment, manuals, and available resources.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a group.
- Strong verbal communication and business writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers.
- Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
