Founder's Associate / Chief of Staff — London Hybrid
Support the CEO of MAGIC AI across strategy, operations, systems, and company culture. This hybrid London role focuses on turning leadership priorities into coordinated action.
Descriere
- Manage the CEO’s priority tracker, translating leadership decisions into clear owners, actions, and deadlines
- Drive cross-functional initiatives spanning fundraising announcements, retail launches, leadership offsites, senior hiring, operating systems, and company events
- Prepare decision briefs that summarize context, options, financial information, recommendations, and decisions required
- Brief the CEO for meetings with investors, board members, partners, candidates, and press
- Coordinate investor and board requests, including data-room materials, metrics, financial-model inputs, updates, and supporting documents
- Surface stalled work and bring the right teams together to remove blockers
- Manage selected external relationships from scheduling and briefing through communication, action tracking, and follow-up
- Handle sensitive company, people, and commercial matters with sound judgment and discretion
- Develop lightweight systems, dashboards, and automations that improve decision-making
- Apply AI tools to research, analysis, writing, project management, and internal workflows
- Create a regular operating cadence for company metrics, priorities, and actions
- Convert incomplete or complex information into clear, actionable recommendations
- Contribute to a culture that combines high performance with genuine care
- Lead company rituals, recognition, internal communications, office experience, and team events
- Safeguard MAGIC AI’s brand across internal and external interactions
- Support recruitment, onboarding, finance and administrative coordination, PR, partnerships, and external events
- Develop processes that reduce the company’s reliance on the Founder
- Improve leadership clarity, execution, operating rhythms, decision support, internal systems, customer insight, and the company experience over a 12-month period

- Demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to advance work without complete instructions
- Bring exceptional operational discipline, including the ability to structure ambiguity, manage competing workstreams, and deliver to completion
- Apply sound analytical judgment and work confidently with metrics, financial reasoning, and business trade-offs
- Use current AI tools effectively to increase leverage and productivity
- Communicate clearly and confidently in writing and conversation
- Bring strong customer intuition and the ability to turn qualitative feedback into practical action
- Combine a low-ego approach with consistently high standards
- Show long-term interest in developing into a senior operator, Chief of Staff, or founder-level role
- Have at least three years of experience in a high-performance setting such as a startup, consulting, investing, founder’s office, operations, or product/growth
- Provide evidence of leading complex projects with limited direction
- Experience building systems, analysing data, or using AI and automation tools is a significant advantage
- Startup experience is preferred
- Be prepared to commit beyond six months; candidates planning to leave after six months are asked not to apply
