Senior Lead Product Designer, AI Software

Apraksts

  • Set product-wide design direction and quality standards, and bring user needs into roadmap decisions.
  • Coach and mentor designers as the team expands.
  • Connect design to adoption, customer satisfaction, sales performance, and other business results; define measures and use them to guide future work.
  • Guide visual direction and create simpler workflows with fewer steps across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Lead AI features from concept to launch, shaping how people interact with, review, trust, and correct AI outputs.
  • Develop the design system, support engineering adoption, and configure it in Claude for PM prototypes.
  • Speak with customers, visit senior living communities, observe staff, conduct usability tests, maintain personas, and follow competitor and AI developments.
  • Produce wireframes, mockups, functional coded prototypes, and engineering-ready specifications; work through tradeoffs with product and engineering.
  • Explain and support design decisions with evidence.
  • Define WCAG-aligned accessibility standards and promote their adoption with engineering.
  • Report to the VP of Product and advise product and engineering leaders.

Prasības

  • At least 7 years of product or UX design experience, including end-to-end design leadership for a product area, mentoring designers, presenting to leaders, and linking design choices to measurable business results.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction design, including simplified complex workflows and responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Experience launching AI features used in real-world settings and understanding AI UX patterns, including setting expectations, surfacing sources, handling errors, and keeping people in control.
  • Experience creating or substantially improving a design system and driving its adoption, including configuring it in Claude for PM use.
  • Advanced Figma skills and confident use of Claude for rapid iteration, including coding functional prototypes for engineering.
  • Practical experience with user research and usability testing.
  • Working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and experience identifying and resolving violations.
  • A bachelor’s degree in design or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
