Territory Account Sales Representative - Canada Remote

Lead HOFFMAN electrical solution sales across Western Quebec and Eastern Ontario in a remote territory sales role. Manage distributors and industrial accounts, develop CRM pipelines, forecast performance, and train customers.

Description

  • Deliver HOFFMAN brand sales targets across Western Quebec and Eastern Ontario
  • Build customer and distributor relationships, assess their needs, and recommend suitable solutions
  • Develop new growth accounts while expanding and retaining existing business
  • Prospect for opportunities, secure new sales, broaden account offerings, and manage the sales pipeline
  • Execute channel, end-user, and installer-focused sales strategies
  • Oversee the assigned territory and grow revenue
  • Keep Salesforce CRM records current with account and conversion-status updates
  • Prepare reports and forecasts to support business planning
  • Provide comprehensive product and solution training for customers and distributors
  • Address customer concerns and follow through to resolution
  • Track market relationships, partnerships, and competitor activity across the territory

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or relevant outside sales experience
  • Preferably five or more years of outside sales experience in electrical, commercial, datacom, utility, or industrial markets
  • Experience selling to industrial accounts is preferred
  • Ability to work fully from a home office and travel throughout the Quebec sales territory as required
  • Willingness to make primarily day trips with occasional overnight travel
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience using CRM software, preferably Salesforce
  • Understanding of distribution and channel-based sales models
  • Experience selling to distributors, consultants, engineers, end users, OEMs, MROs, and contractors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations and proposals
  • Ability to use partnerships to advance strategic initiatives
  • Strong collaborative negotiation skills involving value propositions, compromise, persuasion, influence, rationale, and diplomacy
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English
  • Resume or CV submitted in English
