Description

  • Own Clio's roadmap for French legal content
  • Set goals for completeness, update speed, enrichment depth, and reliability
  • Benchmark coverage, currency, and quality against LexisNexis France, Dalloz, and Lamy
  • Increase win rates, customer trust, retention, and revenue through French content
  • Identify and prioritize gaps in French case law and legislation
  • Lead build, buy, and licensing decisions with Licensing, Legal, and Corporate Development
  • Manage a prioritized backlog with Content Operations and Engineering while guiding the transition to Iceberg
  • Develop resilient, scalable content pipelines owned by Clio
  • Define monitoring, fault-tolerance, and recovery standards for Vincent and Clio Work
  • Enhance case law and legislative metadata, including citations, amendments, case summaries, and hierarchy
  • Combine editorial review with AI tools to improve content discovery and downstream AI usability
  • Partner with Finance and FP&A on French content expenditure and performance dashboards
  • Present roadmap progress, risks, and business impact to the Content Committee each quarter
  • Compare French coverage with regional legal content providers and monitor AI and NLP approaches
  • Develop partnerships with courts, publishers, and open-data organizations
  • Train Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support teams on Clio's French content
  • Maintain the internal French Legal Materials Reference Guide
  • Support enterprise deals that require deep expertise in French legal content
  • Document content strengths for Product Marketing and Sales Enablement

Requirements

  • Seven to ten years of experience in legal publishing, legal data, or content and product management
  • Demonstrated ownership of a content portfolio from inception through delivery
  • Deep understanding of the French legal system and legal publishing market
  • Hands-on experience with French case law and legislation for legal research or practice platforms
  • History of setting strategy and delivering outcomes at senior or staff level
  • Strong product ownership capabilities
  • Ability to lead cross-functional work without direct authority or reports
  • Data-driven prioritization grounded in numerical analysis and ROI
  • Technical familiarity with ETL pipelines, ingestion systems, and metadata models
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
  • Experience establishing standards adopted by other teams
  • Strong interest in advancing content practices through AI
