Description
- Direct international product registrations and help secure market access across the portfolio.
- Act as the primary contact for international regulatory matters.
- Shape regulatory strategy and provide guidance and execution support for compliant launches worldwide.
- Lead global product registration and market entry on cross-functional teams.
- Set, communicate, and carry out regulatory strategies, requirements, and timelines.
- Advise on and approve product labeling, packaging, and marketing materials.
- Review global product claims and oversee supporting substantiation.
- Guide formulation and raw material compliance reviews with R&D and Safety.
- Track, interpret, and share regulatory developments worldwide.
- Maintain compliance with international regulations, state laws, and sustainability requirements.
- Support regulatory work connected to sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee facility registrations, product listings, and expanded adverse event reporting obligations.
- Improve processes and establish consistent regulatory workflows.
- Advance initiatives to strengthen regulatory operations, records, and communication.
- Coordinate regulatory work across R&D, Marketing, Legal, Sales, and Supply Chain.
- Create and deliver regulatory training.
- Provide routine regulatory advice to business partners.
- Manage, lead, and develop direct reports.
- Represent the company in industry associations, working groups, and regulatory forums.
- Report to the Vice President of Regulatory and Safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in a scientific or related field is preferred.
- At least eight years in global regulatory affairs, focused on international registration requirements and support for cosmetic products.
- In-depth knowledge of global cosmetics regulations, labeling rules, and claims compliance.
- Track record supporting worldwide product launches and market access strategies.
- Strong grasp of raw material and formulation compliance.
- Experience with regulatory intelligence and sustainability regulations is strongly preferred.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Experience managing or mentoring team members.
- Strategic judgment paired with strong execution.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, simpler processes, and greater efficiency.
- Ability to handle complex work and set priorities in a fast-paced setting.
