Senior Business Development Manager – Perth Hybrid

Lead enterprise business development for efm Logistics across Australia, from pipeline creation through complex sales cycles, tenders, negotiations, and customer onboarding.

Description

  • Identify, develop, and close strategic new-business opportunities
  • Activate professional networks and build targeted sales strategies
  • Own a diverse, multi-sector pipeline of enterprise prospects
  • Establish strong relationships with prospective customers
  • Use cross-functional knowledge of efm’s operating model to design tailored solutions
  • Produce accurate sales reports
  • Lead tenders, sales presentations, contract discussions, and negotiations
  • Provide strategic commercial insight to inform efm’s future direction
  • Partner with the Implementation team to support smooth onboarding for new customers
  • Expand efm Logistics’ Australian presence while delivering commercial and operational value across customer supply chains

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in a comparable sales position within logistics and supply chain management
  • Background working in a fast-moving, complex business environment
  • Demonstrated success closing deals, navigating complex sales processes, and surpassing targets
  • Leadership ability, independence, and readiness to contribute across the business
  • Self-directed approach with strong personal drive and ambition
  • Practical problem-solving skills and confidence challenging established ways of working
  • Strong analytical capability and commercial judgment
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication
  • Professional experience in logistics and supply chain
  • Experience selling to enterprise customers
  • Experience managing the full business development cycle from discovery and pitching through to closing
