Principal Business Development Manager

Description

  • Lead the full lifecycle of large-scale strategic partnerships, from origination through execution.
  • Develop new business opportunities informed by market trends, emerging technology, customer needs, and ecosystem dynamics.
  • Advise senior and executive stakeholders with data-driven recommendations that shape business decisions.
  • Build and strengthen senior relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop expertise in priority sectors and emerging markets, turning insights into actionable strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Product, Technology, Legal, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Influence strategic direction and long-term business decisions.
  • Mentor colleagues and develop scalable partnerships that reinforce T-Mobile’s competitive position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus seven years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • More than 10 years of progressive experience in business development, alliance management, or strategic sales, including financial or economic analysis; consumer wireless, high-tech, or consumer electronics experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Expertise negotiating complex, high-stakes, and nonstandard agreements.
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and business case development skills.
  • Ability to define and deconstruct ambiguous, high-impact business challenges.
  • Exceptional skill translating complex concepts into presentations for executive audiences.
  • Ability to align and mobilize cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
  • Demonstrated success building and leveraging senior-level relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and ecosystem dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
