Operations Business Analyst - United States Remote

Support LMI’s documentation, records, and workflow operations as a remote Operations Business Analyst. Use SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, and Power BI to streamline processes and reporting.

Description

  • Manage the daily administration, revision, maintenance, and distribution of technical, quality, operational, and project documentation.
  • Oversee documents and records throughout the product line lifecycle, maintaining electronic retention systems and enabling prompt retrieval for internal and external audits.
  • Develop and refine document intake, review, approval, distribution, closeout, retention, and retrieval procedures with SharePoint and other document or records management systems.
  • Build Power Automate workflows and support Power Apps that streamline document requests, request routing, approvals, structured data collection, reminders, and management reporting.
  • Examine documents and records for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and consistency with project, program, customer, and quality standards; identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective measures.
  • Produce operational reports, summaries, dashboards, and management-ready deliverables with Excel, Power BI, and other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Assist with project communications, submittals, RFIs, records turnover, audit preparation, procurement materials, vendor assessments, and special initiatives.
  • Protect sensitive information, communicate effectively with diverse audiences, and resolve routine matters with limited supervision.
  • Contribute to procurement, vendor management, strategic sourcing, special initiatives, organizational studies, policy assessments, process enhancements, and operational changes as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, technical studies, operations, information management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven ability to organize large volumes of information, manage deadlines, maintain precise records, and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Professional experience with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Hands-on experience creating or maintaining Power Automate workflows and developing or supporting Power Apps for operational requests, forms, trackers, or approvals.
  • Ability to interpret procedures, apply requirements consistently, identify missing or outdated information, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and detail-management skills, with the ability to work independently across departments.
  • Security clearance is required, as stated in the job title.
