Description

  • Lead healthcare analytics initiatives spanning claims, clinical operations, members, providers, population health, care management, costs, utilization, and outcomes.
  • Convert complex healthcare and business challenges into analytical methods, metrics, and practical recommendations.
  • Build scalable big-data analytics systems, data products, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
  • Analyze extensive and complex claims, clinical, member, provider, operational, utilization, cost, and outcomes data.
  • Use analytical and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and delivery quality.
  • Work with Data Science and Machine Learning teams on feature engineering, model assessment, and interpreting model results.
  • Collaborate with business, clinical, product, operations, finance, and technology stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor junior analysts when needed.

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional experience in health analytics, healthcare data analytics, or a related analytical field.
  • Background in healthcare, insurance, payer, provider, health technology, life sciences, or healthcare consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare data, business processes, and analytical applications.
  • Well-developed analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated success building scalable, long-running analytics systems or data products.
  • Extensive hands-on experience working with large, complex, and messy datasets.
  • Advanced Python and PySpark proficiency.
  • Working knowledge of machine learning, including feature engineering, model evaluation, and applying model outputs in practice.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Internships, research, and part-time roles do not count toward the required five years of professional experience.
