Deploy and prototype AI-powered decision analytics for utilities, energy, water, and transportation customers. Connect enterprise data and workflows to measurable business outcomes.

Description

  • Collaborate across Sales, Product, R&D, and Implementation to deliver customer solutions
  • Support Solutions Consultants and Account Executives on strategic accounts and new-business opportunities
  • Lead discovery, technical scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, productionization, adoption, and handoff for strategic solutions
  • Deploy the existing product against customer data to demonstrate value during sales engagements
  • Rapidly prototype near-production solutions when existing product capabilities fall short
  • Build, deploy, and assess solutions using customer data
  • Track adoption, workflow effects, reliability, and time to value
  • Design production systems for security, reliability, observability, maintainability, and architectural integration
  • Work with Product and R&D to turn validated customer patterns and production evidence into roadmap initiatives, reusable components, and platform improvements
  • Create reusable accelerators based on recurring customer requirements
  • Create and continuously refine solution specifications with customers
  • Assess business potential, market demand, competitive differentiation, and functional and technical specifications with Product
  • Help influence deal ACV and shorten the path to a working prototype
  • Monitor prototype progression into production and the reuse of shipped patterns and accelerators

Requirements

  • Combine customer-facing communication skills with commercial awareness
  • Lead technical discovery and discuss value with technical and business stakeholders
  • Relate engineering decisions to customer outcomes and deal value
  • Turn individual customer solutions into reusable accelerators
  • Develop LLM applications using RAG, prompt and context engineering, and agent orchestration
  • Choose appropriately between single-agent and multi-agent designs, including memory and state management
  • Use modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code
  • Understand enterprise integrations in regulated utility environments
  • Know systems such as ESRI ArcGIS/Smallworld, IBM Maximo/EAM, SAP/Oracle ERP/PPM, and PowerBI or comparable reporting platforms
  • Understand REST and streaming APIs, authentication approaches, and enterprise systems of record
  • Bring domain experience in asset-intensive industries or capital and asset investment planning as a strong advantage
  • Be prepared to travel to customer locations as needed, up to approximately 50%
  • Have a software or data engineering background
  • Have experience building and delivering maintainable production software
  • Be fluent in Angular, Python, or a comparable language
  • Understand SQL, data modeling, and data ingestion, transformation, and serving pipelines
  • Debug effectively with incomplete or inconsistent customer data in live environments
  • Bring production engineering experience in observability, performance, and operation at scale
  • Have prior customer-facing technical, solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or startup experience as a preferred qualification
  • Have prior experience deploying AI in enterprise or regulated settings as a preferred qualification
