Field Reimbursement Manager, Neuroscience

Lead field support for patient access, reimbursement, and affordability for Johnson & Johnson neuroscience therapies. Educate providers across the Columbus, Toledo, Detroit, and Findlay territory.

Description

  • Lead field education, assistance, and issue resolution to support access to Johnson & Johnson neuroscience therapies.
  • Spend up to half of your time visiting healthcare providers and office teams.
  • Explain reimbursement workflows, claims, procedures, and payer coding requirements to healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate with sales, key account, managed care, and other internal teams.
  • Act as the local team’s specialist in access, fulfillment, and reimbursement.
  • Guide compliant conversations about access and fulfillment.
  • Apply data and account management skills to anticipate and address access barriers.
  • Resolve significant patient access and affordability challenges.
  • Deliver field-based reimbursement and access guidance, education, and practical solutions.
  • Develop trusted relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
  • Plan territory travel, routing, and account business activities.
  • Track market conditions, coverage policies, and coding requirements.
  • Build expertise in patient support hub and specialty distribution channels.
  • Advise on access and affordability options across Medicare, Medicaid managed care, and commercial plans.
  • Conduct business in line with ethical, legal, and compliance standards and complete required training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare or business or public administration.
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Account management and/or reimbursement experience in a provider office setting.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy and medical buy-and-bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals.
  • Reimbursement or relevant managed care experience, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals.
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Problem-solving skills to navigate complex access situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with reliable follow-through.
  • Experience with patient support hub services.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
  • Permanent residence within the listed territory.
  • Neuroscience disease-state experience preferred.
  • Advanced degree and/or relevant prior authorization, billing, or coding certifications preferred.
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that affect pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement.
  • Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
