Director of Distribution Strategy – Hilton (Remote, United States)

Lead Hilton’s distribution strategy for the CALA region, expanding third-party channel performance through partnerships, commercial planning, metrics, and contract negotiations.

Description

  • Develop and execute Hilton’s CALA distribution channel strategy and roadmap, supported by defined performance metrics.
  • Integrate third-party channel programs into Hilton’s broader commercial strategy.
  • Advise on tracking, tagging, data management, and channel enablement requirements for third-party distribution.
  • Assess segment performance and pipeline contribution, then recommend processes, initiatives, and efficiencies that increase value.
  • Track, report, and communicate performance against key metrics in weekly, monthly, and annual commercial reviews.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish measurement targets and strengthen forecasting.
  • Distribute weekly state-of-the-business updates and respond to ad hoc requests from senior leaders.
  • Research market data, trends, and channel insights to identify new online third-party platforms and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts with third-party distribution partners.
  • Monitor distribution legislation and support strategic engagement with influential industry stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • At least 10 years of experience in distribution, revenue management, or another relevant professional environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the CALA region and the OTA, bedbank/wholesale, metasearch, and broader distribution landscape.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating significant distribution agreements.
  • Availability for up to 35% domestic and international travel.
  • Strong capabilities in project management and process improvement.
  • Recent experience managing a large-scale online channel and creating plans to grow its performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of Hilton’s brands, operations, systems, and organizational structure.
