Description

  • Evaluate VSC mechanical claims against established quality and timeliness standards
  • Review estimates for vehicle breakdown repairs
  • Confirm coverage eligibility and assess whether repairs qualify under customers’ Vehicle Service Contracts
  • Negotiate and resolve basic and occasionally moderately complex claims
  • Examine claim files and damage evidence, capture photos, and determine whether vehicles are repairable or total losses
  • Create damage estimates and identify required parts
  • Record claim notes, evaluations, and decision rationale in each file
  • Handle additional assignments from management
  • Perform the role without supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

  • Entry-level capability in adjudicating VSC mechanical claims
  • Strong automotive or mechanical experience
  • Ability to assess vehicle repairs and repair estimates
  • Residence in a state within the Eastern or Central time zones
  • Successful completion of a background investigation
  • Reliable internet service with at least 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds
  • A dedicated, private home workspace with suitable desk and seating
  • Allstate generally does not sponsor employment-based visas for this position
