Service Charge Business Partner – SNG (Hybrid, Basingstoke/Wembley)
Lead service charge data, process improvement, and income recovery for SNG, a major English housing association. This full-time hybrid role is based in Basingstoke or Wembley.

- Build stronger collaboration between service charge teams and stakeholder functions
- Drive ongoing improvements across the service charge function
- Find opportunities to improve services across regions, tenures, and operational areas
- Assess legacy service charge coding structures and system configurations
- Use service charge data and KPIs to identify trends and priorities for improvement
- Develop strategies to increase service charge income and resolve under-recovery
- Contribute to improvement programmes and identify capability gaps within the service charge team
- Work with teams and stakeholders to resolve operational issues and deliver changes
- Support effective service charge management through major contract arrangements, including repairs and maintenance, energy, and insourced or outsourced services
- Create and maintain documentation for end-to-end service charge processes
- Help review and update service charge policies and procedures
- Lead the team with clear direction while building accountability, strong performance, and continuous improvement
- Report to the Head of Service Charge Setting and Administration
आवश्यकताएँ
- Part-qualified accountant with ACA, CIMA, or ACCA studies, or equivalent experience
- Thorough understanding of service charges and applicable legislation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Practical knowledge of quality improvement principles, methods, frameworks, and best practices
- Strong project management ability, including prioritising work and meeting deadlines
- Clear communicator who can explain complex financial information verbally, in writing, and through reports
- Able to work independently and take proactive action
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and build, influence, and maintain effective relationships
- Experience working with data management systems
- Familiarity with process mapping, root cause analysis, and performance dashboards
