Develop production-scale machine learning, generative AI, and large language model solutions for Elevance Health’s healthcare business. Build RAG, agentic AI, evaluation, and Responsible AI capabilities for enterprise applications.

- Design, develop, and deploy AI, machine learning, and generative AI solutions for enterprise business and operational challenges
- Build and maintain infrastructure, pipelines, and services that connect structured and unstructured data for AI applications
- Create reusable capabilities such as RAG pipelines, vector search, semantic retrieval, prompt orchestration, and agentic workflows
- Implement evaluation frameworks and automated tests for model quality, accuracy, bias, safety, and performance
- Establish monitoring, observability, and governance processes that support reliable, compliant production AI systems
- Work with engineering and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms and applications
- Advance Responsible AI through evaluation standards, audit-ready documentation, and model governance controls
- Improve AI systems for scalability, latency, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Support experimentation, benchmarking, and model comparison to strengthen decisions and accelerate AI innovation
- Translate stakeholder requirements into production-ready AI capabilities and services
- Contribute to technical standards, architecture decisions, and enterprise AI engineering practices
- Create experimental and analytical plans for machine learning algorithms and data modeling, using strong baselines and causal analysis
- Support responsible, scalable AI adoption across Elevance Health’s healthcare enterprise
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative field such as computer science, machine learning, operations research, statistics, or mathematics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; alternatively, four or more years of relevant experience
- Production experience building and deploying applications based on large or small language models is highly preferred
- Experience with RAG systems, semantic search, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering is highly preferred
- Experience designing AI agents, tool-calling workflows, or agentic architectures is highly preferred
- Experience evaluating AI systems through automated frameworks, benchmarking, and human review is highly preferred
- Experience developing scalable AI and machine learning pipelines and services with cloud-native architectures is highly preferred
- Experience with MLOps, including CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring, observability, drift detection, and lifecycle management, is highly preferred
- Experience using Python and modern AI and machine learning tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Hugging Face is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Responsible AI, model governance, bias testing, explainability, and auditability is highly preferred
- Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, enterprise platforms, and distributed systems is preferred
- Experience reviewing, testing, validating, and hardening AI-generated code and AI-assisted development workflows is preferred
- Experience supporting production AI systems, resolving issues, and leading continuous improvement is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, are preferred
- Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or enterprise-scale AI is preferred
