Tavsif

  • Convert research concepts and prototypes into dependable computer-vision and 3D-reconstruction pipeline components and services
  • Validate that reconstructed environments and spatial artifacts are geometrically coherent, properly scaled and aligned, and ready for simulation and embodied AI systems
  • Investigate failures related to capture quality, scene complexity, scale, calibration, coordinate conventions, and other hidden assumptions
  • Profile and optimize GPU and distributed workloads, eliminate avoidable reruns, and support cost planning for reconstruction at scale
  • Build datasets, regression tests, quality gates, and benchmarking tools
  • Incorporate production and customer needs into research planning and prioritize improvements for embodied AI
  • Collaborate with Embodied AI product and engineering teams to translate customer requirements into capabilities for training, evaluation, and deployment
  • Advance representations, developer tools, and operational systems that move reconstructed environments into customer applications
  • Coordinate across research, engineering, product, and customer teams to turn 3D-reconstruction and spatial-perception advances into production capabilities

Talablar

  • Substantial experience developing and operating production systems for computer vision, machine learning, graphics, or data processing
  • Practical experience with 3D reconstruction, photogrammetry, structure from motion, SLAM, mapping, scene understanding, computer graphics, or a related discipline
  • Track record of delivering dependable computer-vision or 3D systems for internal teams or customers
  • Strong understanding of 3D and spatial data, including geometry, camera models, coordinate frames, calibration, and metric scale
  • Advanced Python proficiency
  • Ability to use C++ or another performance-oriented language when required
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, GPU computing, distributed processing, or large-scale data pipelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience with Gaussian splatting, neural rendering, meshing, or related reconstruction techniques
  • Experience creating evaluation or benchmarking infrastructure for perception or reconstruction systems
  • Background in robotics, simulation, or embodied AI applications
  • Experience optimizing large-scale GPU workloads for cost, throughput, or latency
  • Availability to work three days per week from the San Francisco office
