Opis

  • Deliver accurate consecutive interpretation, primarily in medical settings.
  • Interpret for clients in social services, customer care, and finance.
  • Maintain impartiality and protect confidential information.
  • Begin in over-the-phone interpretation (OPI).
  • Progress to video remote interpretation (VRI).
  • Work remotely from Latin America.

Zahteve

  • At least 6–12 months of remote medical interpretation experience.
  • C1-level English, demonstrated through EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE.
  • ALTA 9+ or LanguageStat/PICSI 75%–80%+ certification issued in the past 12 months is preferred.
  • Strong command of medical and customer service terminology.
  • HIPAA and FWA certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Use a wired Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi is not accepted.
  • Use a USB noise-canceling headset.
  • Have a computer running Windows 10 or later with at least 4 GB of RAM.
  • Have access to a private, quiet workspace.
  • Be proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Be available to meet the monthly minimum for interpreted minutes.
