Descriere

  • Create polished first-person weapon animations for firing, reloading, handling, inspections, melee, equipment use, and other gameplay interactions
  • Apply traditional animation principles to stylized and hyper-realistic game movement
  • Ensure readable weapons, compelling poses, believable weight, and responsive player-facing timing
  • Animate and refine first-person camera movement to improve gameplay clarity, impact, and presentation
  • Work with designers, engineers, technical artists, riggers, modelers, and animators to address creative and technical challenges
  • Implement, test, and troubleshoot animation in the game engine or proprietary tools
  • Incorporate feedback and iterate efficiently toward AAA-quality results
  • Identify workflow and pipeline improvements that strengthen team efficiency and animation quality
  • Share progress, risks, technical concerns, and creative intent with partners and leads
  • Contribute to animation standards, documentation, and reusable animation systems

Cerințe

  • At least three years of professional animation experience
  • At least one year of professional game animation experience
  • Strong animation fundamentals focused on human movement, weight, timing, posing, and physicality
  • Experience creating or implementing first-person or gameplay animation
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Maya
  • Experience using animation implementation tools and game engines
  • Strong creative and technical problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines in game development
  • Ability to use feedback, iterate quickly, and maintain high quality standards
  • Strong communication, organization, and self-management skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work within an established production pipeline
  • Experience shipping at least one game title is preferred
  • First-person shooter development experience is a bonus
  • Motion-capture cleanup, retargeting, or editing experience is a bonus
  • Experience with proprietary game engines or animation pipelines is a bonus
  • Experience mentoring junior or associate animators is a bonus
  • Interest in supporting previs or motion-capture shoots when required by the project is a bonus
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex animation work from initial direction through implementation and polish
  • Ability to give constructive feedback and technical guidance to less experienced animators
  • Ability to identify risks early and independently help resolve production issues
