Descriere

  • Lead a global team of more than 40 architects
  • Align Data, AI, and Analytics technology design and delivery with enterprise strategy and industry developments
  • Advise business groups on reliable, high-performance Data, AI, and Analytics solutions
  • Guide data engineering teams on domain-driven design, data modeling, master data platforms, canonical models, and enterprise integration patterns
  • Establish technical consistency across regions and professional teams using company and industry standards
  • Partner with cloud and enterprise data center infrastructure teams to develop and configure fit-for-purpose data platforms
  • Align Data, AI, and Analytics systems with portfolio strategy and long-term roadmaps
  • Work with Infrastructure, development, operations, and technical product teams to gather requirements and address stakeholder needs
  • Create roadmaps for strategic tools and systems
  • Influence leaders, architects, managers, and engineers throughout the organization
  • Contribute technical and software architecture leadership to design reviews and engineering initiatives
  • Lead architects based in Dearborn, Michigan, and Chennai, India
  • Mentor leaders and engineers working on Data, AI, and Analytics systems
  • Support Global Data Insights & Analytics leadership in defining the future platform vision and roadmap
  • Establish and uphold architectural, regulatory, industry, and security standards
  • Partner with security teams to align cloud-native applications and infrastructure with cybersecurity requirements
  • Recommend priorities for modernizing existing systems toward the target architecture
  • Track architecture trends and help teams maintain current practices
  • Ensure solutions support Ford’s technology strategy

Cerințe

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
  • At least 15 years of increasing responsibility in IT or an IT-focused business area
  • At least 10 years designing and building data-intensive applications, including large-scale data integration, highly available data platforms, relational, document, columnar, and virtual warehouses, data mesh, data lakes, and zero-copy solutions
  • At least 10 years working with Data, AI, and Analytics systems
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing, particularly Google Cloud Platform
  • Working knowledge of Data, AI, and Analytics tools and their practical applications
  • Extensive, demonstrated technical architecture expertise
  • Knowledge of cloud-native software architecture and delivery practices
  • Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity principles
  • Ability to influence leaders and employees at multiple levels across the organization
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making ability
  • Ability to develop teams through performance growth, talent recruitment, and retention
  • Strong ability to influence peers and business partners
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead teams through ambiguity while selecting solutions in complex environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with management one to four levels above and below across business and IT
