Executive Director, Business Operations and Strategy — CVS Health (New York, Hybrid)
Lead CVS Health’s retail media operations strategy, building governance, automation, and planning systems that support growth and profitability. Direct CMX teams and coordinate cross-functional execution across the business.
Descriere
- Set CMX operating strategy around annual priorities and longer-term expansion goals
- Build and oversee operating models, governance structures, and recurring business cadences
- Monitor market developments and new technologies to shape future operating plans
- Own OKRs, executive dashboards, performance reviews, leadership reporting, and governance compliance
- Simplify workflows, scale repeatable processes, eliminate operational obstacles, speed decisions, and formalize procedures
- Work with Product, Marketing, Business Systems, PCW Marketing, Operations, DDAT, and Strategy to improve platforms, automation, reporting, intelligence, and resource allocation
- Establish consistent operating practices across connected teams
- Direct CMX operational planning and budget strategy
- Improve profitability through productivity gains, automation, resource efficiency, and vendor oversight
- Manage, mentor, and grow a strong operations team
- Build a culture of ownership, partnership, ongoing improvement, and customer focus
Cerințe
- At least 15 years in business operations, marketing operations, strategy, ad tech, consulting, portfolio or program management, or a related discipline
- At least 7 years managing and developing high-performing teams
- Proven ability to create and deliver operating strategies tied to annual priorities and long-term growth
- Deep knowledge of decision frameworks such as RACI, PACE, DACI, and comparable accountability models
- Background establishing operating models, governance systems, executive reviews, performance reporting, and scalable processes
- Advanced experience automating and improving workflows with Workfront, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or comparable tools
- Strong familiarity with media, advertising, retail media, e-commerce, digital marketing, or technology businesses
- Working knowledge of technology and advertising operations
- Experience overseeing substantial operating budgets and vendor portfolios
- Ability to collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Strategy, and Business Systems organizations
- Strong executive presence, organizational leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Consistent and dependable attendance
- Willingness to travel when business requirements call for it
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or comparable process-improvement certification preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including preferred experience with Visio
- MBA or another advanced business degree preferred
- Preferred experience with advertisers, agencies, marketing platforms, or ad technology companies
- Preferred background in healthcare, retail, commerce media, retail media networks, or digital advertising ecosystems
