Remote Order Management Coordinator – American Red Cross
The American Red Cross is hiring a remote Order Management Coordinator to manage blood product, pharmaceutical, and transfusion-supply orders. The role supports hospitals through inventory control, shipment coordination, issue resolution, and customer service.

- Process routine orders for blood products, pharmaceuticals, and transfusion-related supplies
- Maintain product and service information across supporting data, tools, and computer systems
- Rotate inventory at primary and remote facilities to maintain adequate supply levels
- Serve hospital customers and proactively communicate product and service updates
- Follow up with customers when requested product needs cannot be fulfilled as planned
- Select cost-effective transportation methods for hospital shipments
- Investigate and resolve problems affecting hospital shipments
- Address customer concerns and complete required documentation accurately and promptly
- Help hospital personnel identify inventory alternatives when requested products are unavailable
- Support, develop, and provide leadership guidance to volunteers

- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- At least one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, is required
- Progressive experience in a fast-paced, multitasking operations environment is preferred
- Experience with blood or pharmaceutical inventory, hospital customer relations, or logistics is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills when working with customers, staff, and volunteers
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Working knowledge of computers
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
- Flexibility to work an adjusted schedule during the first 4–6 weeks of training
- Willingness to travel for business when required
