Executive Assistant, Marketing and Communications
Provide remote executive support to US founders, including LinkedIn content, media outreach, recruiting, and calendar management. FreedUp matches executive assistants with growing US companies.

- Manage LinkedIn content and outreach by adopting the founder’s voice, drafting and scheduling posts, engaging with relevant posts, handling messages, and following up with prospects.
- Assist with media outreach by drafting pitches and press materials, tracking contacts, and managing follow-ups.
- Maintain the founder’s calendar and task system, plan the week, time-block commitments, and keep priorities on track.
- Post freelance roles, screen applicants, and arrange interviews.
- Sort the inbox, prepare meeting briefs, and organize notes and follow-ups.
- Gradually assume responsibility for the founder’s calendar and weekly planning.
- Support a US-based founder in a combined executive assistant and marketing role.

- Relevant education or work experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or advertising.
- At least three years of experience as an executive assistant, virtual assistant, or in a similar support role.
- Advanced written and spoken English proficiency (C1 or higher).
- Strong writing ability and skill in matching another person’s voice and tone.
- Experience managing calendars, inboxes, and competing priorities.
- Experience managing LinkedIn or other social media for a founder or brand is preferred.
- Media relations or public relations experience, such as pitching journalists or writing press releases, is preferred.
- Experience recruiting or coordinating freelancers is preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, LinkedIn’s post scheduler, Canva, and a CRM such as HubSpot is preferred.
- The hiring process includes a Loom video, recruiting interview, work evaluation with a short LinkedIn writing task, and final client interview.
