Summer 2027 Executive Search Intern – Atlanta Hybrid
Join Egon Zehnder as an Executive Search Intern supporting leadership advisory engagements through research, market mapping, candidate identification, and search analysis. The internship includes mentorship, structured training, and a practical capstone project.
Description
- Contribute to active executive searches through company and industry research, market mapping, and candidate sourcing
- Create and update target-company and candidate lists using firm databases and research tools
- Evaluate and synthesize findings to inform search strategy, team conversations, and recommendations
- Develop draft research summaries, candidate profiles, presentations, trackers, and other internal or client-facing materials
- Take part in search-team meetings and, where appropriate, observe consultant or client discussions
- Support projects across multiple industries and practice areas
- Develop connections with research and consulting mentors and colleagues throughout the firm
- Complete onboarding and training covering executive search, research methods, firm tools, search delivery, and professional development
- Deliver a capstone project that addresses a business need and creates a practical, reusable resource
Requirements
- Be a current college junior who will enter senior year after the internship
- Be eligible to participate in a Summer 2027 internship
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.3
- Have authorization to work in the United States
- Demonstrate strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Communicate clearly in writing and conversation
- Handle confidential information with care, precision, and sound judgment
- Manage competing priorities while collaborating with multiple teams
- Bring initiative and professional conduct to day-to-day work
- Adapt comfortably to projects that vary in scope and subject matter
- Ask thoughtful questions, seek feedback, and learn through hands-on experience and observation
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency is preferred
