Senior Manager, Area Design Studio - Texas Remote

Lead Taylor Morrison’s design studios across the Southeast Area in a remote Texas role. Oversee teams, studio operations, product strategy, performance, and corporate design initiatives.

Description

  • Lead all design studios and studio teams across the Southeast Area
  • Define the area’s operational and strategic direction
  • Standardize scheduling, product offerings, operations, and compliance with the Design Studio Playbook
  • Hire, coach, develop, onboard, and train design studio employees
  • Oversee daily operations, studio remodels, product selections, appointment flow, and customer experience
  • Partner with sales, purchasing, architecture, corporate, regional, construction, and warranty teams
  • Prepare monthly KPI reports, assess performance trends, and identify operational improvements
  • Use studio data to evaluate customer preferences, conversion patterns, and revenue drivers
  • Manage staffing, timesheets, commission payments, monthly studio commitments, and performance accountability
  • Curate and support Canvas collections and other product offerings
  • Advance corporate design initiatives and procurement efforts through the Area Design Studio Council
  • Participate in regional purchasing, design studio leadership, and Starts Meetings
  • Maintain division contact lists, documentation, and corporate compliance
  • Equip third-party studios with tools, coaching, resources, and Taylor Morrison procedures
  • Oversee IT ordering and standardized employee onboarding
  • Support model home teams with option selections and related paperwork

Requirements

  • At least five years of management experience, including required design experience
  • College degree and homebuilding experience preferred
  • Taylor Morrison experience or successful completion of its training program may substitute for the stated education or experience requirement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop design studio teams across the Southeast Area
  • Knowledge of design studio operations, scheduling, appointments, product offerings, and customer experience
  • Ability to analyze studio KPIs, customer preferences, conversion patterns, and revenue drivers
  • Ability to manage staffing, hiring, onboarding, training, timesheets, and commission payments
  • Product knowledge and ability to educate design studio, sales, construction, and warranty teams
  • Proficiency with DocuSign and Division Teams channels for documentation
  • Ability to manage third-party design studio partnerships
  • Ability to order and approve IT and employee onboarding materials
  • Ability to support model home option selections and paperwork
