Senior Clinical Research Associate - Malaysia Remote
Lead clinical trial monitoring, site oversight, and compliance activities for ICON’s sponsor-dedicated research programs in Malaysia.
Description
- Direct technically complex clinical trial monitoring activities while advancing quality and continuous improvement
- Oversee trial sites for compliance with study protocols, regulatory standards, and Good Clinical Practice requirements
- Perform site visits to evaluate performance, address issues, and support effective trial delivery
- Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate, timely data collection and reporting
- Train and mentor site personnel and fellow Clinical Research Associates
- Develop strong working relationships with site teams and stakeholders to support efficient trial operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare discipline
- Substantial Clinical Research Associate experience with a strong command of clinical trial operations and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple sites and projects while applying strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring methods, data integrity, and site management, along with proficiency in applicable clinical trial systems and tools
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities, including the ability to influence compliance in complex settings
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% as required
- Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based
